Hormone Health

When you don’t feel like yourself anymore.

Hormonal changes can affect so much more than your menstrual cycle.

You may feel exhausted but struggle to sleep. Anxious when you never used to be. Irritable, overwhelmed or unable to cope with things you would previously have taken in your stride.

Perhaps your brain feels foggy, your energy has disappeared, your periods have changed, your libido has dropped or you simply keep thinking:

“I just don’t feel like me.”

I support women experiencing hormonal health concerns, including perimenopause, menopause and PCOS, using an individualised, whole-person approach that looks beyond one symptom at a time.

We Look at the Wider Picture...

Hormonal symptoms don’t happen in isolation.

Your health history, stage of life, sleep, nutrition, stress, emotional wellbeing and other health conditions can all be relevant to how you feel.

And sometimes life itself is overwhelming. You may be juggling work, children, ageing parents or a difficult relationship while continually putting your own needs last.

That doesn’t mean stress or relationships have caused your hormonal symptoms. It means it is important to understand the whole person experiencing them. Together, we look at what has changed, what has already been investigated and what support may be appropriate for you.

Hormonal Health Support

Women come to me for support with concerns including:

Menstrual Issues, Perimenopause & menopause
Changes in periods, sleep, energy, mood, concentration, anxiety, libido and how you feel physically and emotionally.

PCOS
Individualised support alongside appropriate medical care when symptoms associated with PCOS are affecting your health and quality of life.

Fatigue, anxiety & overwhelm
When hormonal change, poor sleep, stress and other health concerns are leaving you exhausted or feeling less able to cope.

Sleep, libido & confidence
Changes that can affect not only how you feel physically, but your sense of yourself and your relationships too.

When Hormones and Relationships Overlap

When you’re exhausted, anxious, not sleeping or experiencing significant hormonal change, relationships can feel harder.

But the reverse matters too. Sometimes women are told that how they feel is “just hormones” when there are genuine difficulties within a relationship that deserve attention.

My background in both women’s health and relationship coaching means we can consider both without making assumptions.

Are hormonal changes affecting how you feel and cope? Is stress adding to your exhaustion? Are you struggling to communicate what you need or set boundaries? Is a difficult relationship affecting your emotional wellbeing?

Sometimes several things are happening at once.

If relationship difficulties are part of the picture, I can also support you through my relationship coaching and Should I Stay or Should I Go? Framework.

How I Work

I have more than 25 years’ experience in health and wellbeing, with homeopathy at the heart of my clinical work.

Rather than following a standard protocol, I take time to understand your symptoms, health history and the wider circumstances of your life. Where appropriate, homeopathy can form part of your support alongside conventional medical care and other appropriate health and lifestyle support.

I will also encourage medical investigation where symptoms need further assessment. Not everything that happens during perimenopause or menopause is necessarily “just hormones”.

About Me

I’m Becca Scott, a qualified homeopath with more than 25 years’ experience in health and wellbeing and a particular interest in autoimmune, hormonal and gynaecological health.

My aim is to give you the time to tell the whole story, understand your health more clearly and identify what support may be appropriate for you.
